Backyard Axe Throwing Game

Description

Axe throwing sized for a backyard party. The target is a thick bristle board on a freestanding tripod, so the axes stick with a satisfying thud instead of bouncing off, and there is nothing sharp in the set. You get 12 throwing pieces: 6 axes, 4 throwing stars and 2 darts, all soft-edged and light enough for kids to throw.

The stand adjusts to two heights – about 61 inches for adults and 45 inches for kids – so one setup works for the whole party. Set it against a fence or open lawn, mark a throwing line, and let people take turns or run a bracket.
