Splash Deluxe Party Package (Slides) rental from InflatableTX in North DFW

10 Kid Birthday Party Ideas in The Colony and North DFW

If you live in The Colony, Frisco, Little Elm or anywhere in North DFW and you are planning a kid birthday, you have more options than the same three party places everyone books. Here are ideas that actually work around here, roughly in order of how much effort they take.

1. Backyard party with an inflatable

The default for a reason. No reservation, no time limit, no per-child pricing, and the kids get more play time than they would at a venue. Add a combo unit, a folding table for cake, and you are done. Our free delivery covers The Colony, Frisco, Plano, Carrollton, Lewisville, Little Elm and the rest of North DFW.

2. Pavilion party at a local park

Great when your yard is small or you want the mess out of the house. Reserve a pavilion through your city parks department, get the permit sorted early, and remember there is almost never usable power, so plan on a generator. Read our park party guide before you book anything.

3. Water party in the summer

From June through September, a wet slide is the whole party. Add a snow cone machine and you have covered food, entertainment and the heat in one move. Have parents bring towels and a change of clothes on the invite.

4. Field day or carnival theme

Obstacle courses, carnival games, popcorn and cotton candy. This one scales well for big groups, church events and school parties because everyone is moving through stations rather than waiting in one line.

5. Movie night in the backyard

Projector on the garage wall, blankets in the grass, popcorn machine going. Works best for slightly older kids and for parties that run into the evening. Pair it with an afternoon of bounce house time and you have filled a whole day.

6. Splash pad plus cake at home

Cheap and easy for toddlers. Meet at a splash pad in the morning, then head back to the house for cake. Low cost, low stress, and the little ones wear themselves out.

7. Sports party

Rent a field or use a neighborhood green space, bring a couple of yard games and an obstacle course for the kids who lose interest in the actual sport after ten minutes. Some of them will.

8. Character or theme party

Pick the theme the kid actually cares about this month, then match the inflatable to it. We have themed units that carry a party without you buying a single decoration.

9. Church or school fundraiser

If you are organizing something bigger, inflatables plus concessions are a reliable draw and the concessions can pay for the rental. We deliver to churches and schools across North DFW and can work with your setup window.

10. Combine with a neighbor

Two families with birthdays a few weeks apart split one party and one rental. Double the kids, half the cost each, one afternoon instead of two. More people should do this.

Where to start

Pick your date first, because Saturdays in spring and early summer go quickly around here. Then figure out the rest. You can see what is available on any date on our site, or call and text us at (682) 202-5624 and we will help you put it together.
